Bear Lake Johnson family reunion

Here's eight cousins (Nextson, Larsen, Elizabeth, Andrea, Falishia, Celest, Elena, Kevin) ready for fun at the Bear Lake Johnson family reunion. This group came a day early to get a head start on the fun.

Wow, look at all these green beans. Let the sniping party begin!!

How many quarts do you think we'll get?

Grandpa shows the kids how to snip beans. Everyone needs to help.

All done, lets tell Great Grandpa Johnson we did 63 quarts of beans.

Celebrating spring Johnson style

This is Great Grandpa Johnson's newly planted garden.

  It's a long time family tradition where everyone comes 

to celebrate the beginning of spring.

And the huge bon fire where everyone roasts a hot dog

after the flames die down.   About 100 children, grandchildren,

and great grandchildren attended this year.  Grandpa is 89 years old!!

Off to California

Ava was blessed on May 3, 2009.  She wore Kate's blessing dress 

and looks so much like her.   Here's Ava looking so big
